Record therapy sessions or coaching calls for reflection between sessions
Your session, yours to revisit.
A lot happens in fifty minutes, and much of it fades by the weekend. Some clients choose to record therapy sessions or coaching calls so they can return to them: the question that landed, the thing they agreed to try, the way something was put that finally made sense.
This only works with agreement. Ask your therapist or coach before you record, and respect their answer. In many places you need everyone’s consent to record. Recordd is a place to keep your own conversations; it is not a substitute for the person across from you.

What coaching and therapy clients record
The moments worth keeping.
The session that shifted something
You leave knowing something changed but not quite what. That evening you open the recording and listen again, or read the transcript slowly. What was said is there, exactly as it was said.
The coaching call from your desk
Your coach is on Zoom or Meet. On Mac, ⌘R records your voice and theirs as two separate tracks with no bot joining. Afterwards, tap Process and the action items list what you committed to before the next call.
The week in between
Midweek you want to recall how your therapist phrased a question about your father. Ask the recording and jump to the moment. Then close it and get on with your week.
How Recordd fits coaching and therapy clients
Built for how you actually use it.
Records quietly
On iPhone, start recording, lock the phone, and set it aside. Recording continues in the background. If a cellular call comes in, recording pauses and resumes after the call.
Your commitments, listed
After you tap Process, Recordd writes a summary and a list of action items from the transcript. Between sessions they are a plain reminder of what you agreed to try.
Ask the recording
Chat with a single recording in plain language and jump to the moment something was said. Only the transcript text is used, never the audio, and there is no chat across your whole library.
Private, and yours to delete
Recordings are encrypted in transit and at rest and are never used to train AI. Location is off by default. Delete any recording, or your whole account, whenever you choose.
The voice recorder app on iPhone and Mac
This is the whole thing,
actually running.
Your library on iPhone, ask-anything chat on any recording, and the full desktop transcript on Mac. Same library, everywhere.

Recordd for coaching and therapy clients: questions
Before you start.
Is it okay to record my therapy session?+
Only with your therapist’s or coach’s agreement. Ask before the session and accept their answer. In many places you need everyone’s consent to record.
Who can hear my recordings?+
You. They live in your own account, encrypted in transit and at rest, and are never used to train AI. Recordd is not a clinical or HIPAA-certified system; it is a personal recording app for your own conversations.
Does Recordd analyze or interpret my sessions?+
No. After you tap Process it produces a transcript, a title, a summary, and action items drawn from what was said. It does not offer advice or assessments, and you can save a recording without transcribing it at all.
Can I delete a recording later?+
Yes. Delete any recording at any time, or delete the whole account. Deleting removes it from all your devices.
