Doesn't Voice Memos transcribe now?+
On recent iPhones it does, on-device and in a handful of languages, as one block of text. Recordd transcribes every recording on every device in 26 languages, labels each speaker, adds a summary and action items, and lets you ask questions about it afterwards.
Does Recordd record phone calls on iPhone?+
Not on iPhone. Apple only lets its own Phone app record cellular calls; third-party apps, Voice Memos included, can't. An incoming call pauses your Recordd recording and it resumes afterwards. On a Mac, Recordd records both sides of FaceTime, Zoom, Meet, Teams, or WhatsApp calls as two separate tracks.
